It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, auntie and friend, Penny (Marie) Exner.

Penny was predeceased by her mother, Elsie; father John; and brother Gary Exner. She will be forever missed by her sisters, Charlotte, Sabina, Agnes, June and Marina and her brothers Barry, Leo, Charles, Ryan, Jerome, Mark and Bill; as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Mary, as she is lovingly remembered by family, loved life and enjoyed her various career adventures as a supply tech with the armed forces, then a lab tech with the hospital in Melville, and finally her management position with B.C. Forestry in McKenzie, British Columbia.

Mary became ill and was eventually unable to care for herself so spent the last several years at St. Paul Lutheran Home in Melville. The family wishes to acknowledge the excellent care she was given and commend all the caregivers who are employed with the home.
