Patricia Gail "Pat"  Chesney (Weber)
Patricia “Pat” Gail Chesney of the Waldron district, Saskatchewan, beloved wife of Garry Chesney, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 19, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Home, Melville.

Patricia was born May 28, 1948 at St. Peter’s Hospital, Melville, SK. She was the second child born to Mike and Katherine Weber. Pat attended school at Good Hope, Waldron and Melville. Pat then went to Marvel Hairdressing School, Regina, following which she went to work at Markinch, SK as a hairdresser, before returning to Melville, also to work as a hairdresser. Pat was united in marriage to Garry Chesney on October 21, 1966 at St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Melville, SK. They went on a honeymoon to Banff, AB. After their honeymoon, they returned to the Chesney family farm. Garry and Pat were blessed with two children, Darlene and Corey. Pat stayed home to raise her children and then began employment at the Bangor Lodge for numerous years. Pat and Garry also ran Waldron Hotel, but after 13 months Pat had enough and returned to her home that she enjoyed so much. She also loved flowers and she enjoyed gardening, camping, family curling and raising all kinds of dogs.

After a lengthy illness, Pat passed away peacefully, the age of 66. Pat was predeceased by her parents Mike and Katherine Weber, her
nephews Greg Weber and Evan Sawatzky, and her father-in-law John Chesney.

Pat leaves to celebrate her life her loving husband Garry; two children Darlene (Allan) Schlechter and Corey (Jeanine) Chesney; five grandchildren Chelsea, Jared (Allyssa), Dustin, Hunter and Hudson; three great-grandchildren Kingston, Kayle and Kase; sister Ruth (Wilmer) Shingoose, Terry (Rod) Frunchak, Randy Weber (Kathy), Rick Weber (Kim); mother-in-law Kay Chesney, brother-in-law John (Joan) Chesney; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank all the nurses and caregivers who cared for her during her illness.
