It is with great sadness and fond memories that we say farewell to a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. Floyd Bonk passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the age of 92 years.

Floyd was one of 19 children born to Albert and Frances Bonk of Deveron, SK. He married the love of his life, Isabelle Lowenberg, in 1952. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in October 2022!

Floyd farmed for many years in the Glenavon and Summerberry area and retired to Grenfell, SK, in 2007.

Floyd is celebrated and dearly missed by: his wife, Isabelle; sons Cameron (Brenda), Gerald, Dennis (Margaret) and Don (Wendy); daughter Adrianne; brothers Adam and Lawrence (Elaine); sister Mary Dyck; grandchildren Rachel Drinnan (Dean), April Armbruster (Kent), Melanie Theisen (Jordan), Jaime Bonk (Alois), David Bonk (Kelsey), Karen Lowenberg (Cory), Calvin Bonk (Tianna), Janna Sailor (Donovan), Jonathon Sailor (Ariel), Alysse Tedford (Tim), Breanna Mast (John) and Austin Bank (Jessica), Sarah Cheshire (Justin), Grant Bonk (Laurisa), Allison Faber (Jared), Katelin Sperling (Jordan), Caralee Robertson (James), Donovan Bonk (Madison), Rochelle Bonk (Patrick) and Jordan Bonk. ; 36 great-grandchildren and many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by grandson Braden Bonk.

Floyd’s vibrant love of life and his Lord and Saviour is a precious legacy that he has left for generations to come for everyone who shared in his life. Those we love we never lose, for they will be loved, remembered, treasured, always in our memory.
