It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma. Frances Nohlgren passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022, with family by her side. Mom was born on June 2, 1928, to Otto and Rose Nelson.
Frances was predeceased by siblings Frieda (Tom) Manns, Violet (Albert) Doucette and Jack (Nellie) Nelson; and in-laws Annie (Howard) Westman, Marge (Art) Butterfield, and Gordon Nohlgren. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 72 years, Allan Nohlgren; children Sharon (Darcy) Jauck, Wayne (Chris) Nohlgren, Heather (Brian) Kohlenberg and Dennis (Cory) Nohlgren; 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Lorna Nohlgren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a private service at a later date. Donations in memory of Frances may be made to Diabetes Canada. Family and friends are invited to leave tributes at www.matthewsfuneralhome.ca
