With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Gladys Izzard on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the age of 87 years.
Gladys was born in Pilot Mound, MB, on May 10, 1935. She lived in Glenora, MB, for the early part of her life. Her first job was in a bank at a young age. She then worked in the telephone office.
Gladys met the love of her life, George, and they were married on October 6, 1956. They moved to Saskatchewan and farmed in Kamsack and Runnymede for many years. They then moved to Togo, where they ran a store for a number of years. After retiring, they moved to Melville, SK, where they enjoyed camping, boating and fishing.
Gladys was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Freda (Wenger) Lundgren; brother Edwin (Edith) Lundgren; brother-in-law Ward Davidson; and son Rick. She is survived by her husband, George; sister Phyllis Davidson; brother Robert Lundgren (Faye); sister-in-law Edith Lundgren; children Brenda (David), Shien (Rosanne) and Heather (Bill); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews
