Julia was born on a farm near Ituna, Saskatchewan, to the late Piotr Grzebinski and Ksenia (Klimczak). She attended St. Joseph’s School to Grade 8.

In 1946 Julia married Ernie Robinson; they lived and farmed near Ituna until 1959, then moved to Melville.

Julia was predeceased by her husband, Ernie, in 1985; daughter-in-law Christa Robinson; her parents; her sisters and their spouses, Lucy (Steve) Szarkowicz, Mary (John) Klimczak, Frances (Carl) Batycki and Jean Grzebinski; her brothers and their spouses, Stanley (Mary), Bernie( Hattie), Peter, John (Nellie) and Edward; siblings in infancy Joseph, Anna and Walter; mother- and father-in-law William and Clara Robinson; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Edward (Florence), William (Sadie), Thomas (Olga), James (Eileen), Elsie Ivey (George) and Isobel Martin (Jack).

Julia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Raising and caring for her family kept her busy, but in her spare time, she loved knitting and crocheting, rock painting, doing puzzles of any kind and, at age 103, could still skunk us at crib! Always curious and caring about her family and friends, Julia kept up on our news with visits by phone, mail and her iPad. Thank you, Mom, for always being that special light in our lives.

A private service was held on Saturday, September 12, 2020, from Matthews Funeral Home, Melville, SK, with the Rev. Fr. Andrzej Sowa, OMI officiating. Interment followed at the St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Cemetery, Ituna, SK. Acting as pallbearers were her grandsons and honorary pallbearers her granddaughters.

We love you Mom, Granny & GG ….“Last Touch”
