Raymond Blanchard passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Melville. Raymond was born on December 29, 1939, to Peter and Margaret (nee Wirth) Blanchard. He married Kathy Blanchard (nee Weger) on October 18, 1968. This marriage was blessed with two sons, Troy (Katherine Anderson) of Regina, SK, and Travis of Neudorf, SK. Raymond appreciated family and friends. Family included four siblings, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws and several very special nieces and nephews. Raymond took over the family farm north of Neudorf. In his early years, he worked at local grain elevators, Sask Power and acted as night watchman for the Canadian Pacific Railway. His interests included antiques, swimming, billiards and spending time in nature. Raymond moved into St. Paul Lutheran home on February 28, 2011. This soon became his new home where he appreciated all the staff and made many new friends.
