Adolf W. Radmacher passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Melville, SK, at the age of 78 years.

Adolf was born on October 8, 1941, in Turkheim, Germany. The eldest son of Franz and Marie (nee Moldovan) Radmacher, Adolf grew up in East Germany on a small farm, immigrating to West Germany with his family when he was 14 years old; the family moved to Canada when he was 16 years old, settling in Regina, SK, in 1958.

Adolf went to work instead of attending school, self-teaching along the way. He managed to qualify as a mechanic and knew a lot about electrical wiring, plumbing, carpentry, raising animals on his own farm and, later in life, computers.

Adolf enjoyed over 61 years as a Canadian, loving hunting big game, fishing, camping, travelling from coast to coast and meeting friends; he enjoyed nature. The Good Sam RV Club introduced Adolf to more dear friends from the provinces and states of the USA.

Adolf is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lorraine; his son, Stephen (Anne) of Ontario; his daughter, Anita of Vancouver; his son, Chris (Shelby) of Regina; brother Rudy (Lorraine), sister Erika (Walter) Hinzman, sister Monika (Brent) Grainger, brother-in-law Lloyd (Sue) Bernt and sister-in-law Viola (Harold) Berwald, all of Regina; his grandchildren, Ellen, Emma and Felix; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment will take place at Neudorf Village Cemetery.
