Eileen Racette of Balcarres, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at the age of 86 years.
Predeceased by her parents, Louis and Sarah Blondeau; sisters Doreen Peterson, Leona Kelly (Gidden), Marion Dawson (Fee) and Rose Blondeau (Coody); and brothers Sam Blondeau, Mike Blondeau and Ed Blondeau (Diboy). Eileen is survived by her seven children, Linda (Ken) Fayant, Leo (Bev) Racette, Sandra (Carman) Kennedy, Roy (Brenda) Racette, Barbara (Kim) Barbeau, Dion (Yvonne) Racette and Lee Ann (Alex) Stachyshyn, along with 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; one sister, Florence Fisher, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
No funeral service will be held as per Eileen's wishes. Memorial donations may be made to Touchwood Qu'Appelle Primary Health Care Occupational Therapy. Arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home, Melville, SK.
