Kenneth Christian Kirschman was born on November 21, 1944, in St Peter's Hospital, Melville, Saskatchewan. Ken was the youngest of seven children born to Ottillie and Christian Kirschman.
In 1967 Ken was united in marriage to Christine Donnelly in Melville, Saskatchewan. They resided in Melville, where they were blessed with five children (three boys and two girls). Ken worked at various jobs throughout his life, from 1963-1995 as an elevator agent to working for CN Rail, with his most recent being owning his own business, Triple K Contracting.
Ken's passion in life was spending time with family and friends, fishing, hunting, camping, playing cards and tending to his garden.
Ken entered his eternal rest on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Regina General Hospital at the age of 74 years with his family by his side.
Ken now joins in heaven his mom and dad, Ottillie and Christian Kirschman; brother Walter Kirschman; sister Eleanor Hallwas; sisters-in-law Millie Kirschman and Nancy Kirschman; brothers-in-law Norman Zentner and Gus Hallwas. He leaves to cherish his memory: wife Christine Kirschman and five children, son Keith (Laurie) Kirschman, their children Vanda (Tyler) Welfing and their children Kalyd and Trinity, Morgan (Evelyn) Kirschman and their son Brandt and Carlin (Amanda) Kirschman; son Kelvin (Correen) Kirschman, their children Travis (Chelsey) Kirschman, Brian (Mellissa) Kirschman and their sons, Koden and Kai, and Colin Kirschman; son Christian (Carla) Kirschman; daughter Lori (Leonard) Ford and their children Dustin and Trisha; daughter Melony (David) Wozniak; Ken’s sisters, Edna Zentner and Leona (Paul) Chaban; brothers Mervin Kirschman and Alfred (Judy) Kirschman; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
