Obituary for Katherine Beckman
Katherine Beckman of Regina, formerly of Melville, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the age of 101 years.
Katherine was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1993; her parents, Joseph and Johanna (Ottenbreit) Lang; and all her siblings. She is survived by her children, Garry (Patty) Beckman of Ottawa and Carol Beckman Dietz of Regina; her grandchildren, Corey (Heather) Dietz, Laura (Glen) Stark, Carrie Beckman (Martin Laflamme), Jennifer (Ken) Mendes and Jonathan (Stephanie) Beckman; her great-grandchildren, Alexandra Mendes, Jonathan, Jr. and Rhys Beckman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held in spring.
We would like to thank the nurses and caregivers at Regina Lutheran Home who provided excellent care for our mother/grandmother.
Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, CNIB or Zion Lutheran Church, Melville.
