Obituary for
Edwin Nick Rogalski
Edwin Rogalski was born on Thursday, November 1, 1928, on a farm north of Killaly, SK; he was one of five children born to Nick and Eva (Flegel) Rogalski. Edwin passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at the age of 89 years.
Edwin was predeceased by his first wife, Elsie, in 1985; his parents, Nick and Eva Rogalski; sister Helen Haas; brother Arthur Rogalski; two grandsons, Brandon Rogalski and Nicholas Merrick; and stepson, Lloyd Herperger.
He will be missed and fondly remembered by his four children: son Vaughn (Yvonne) and their children, Kristina (Chris Venning), April (Mike Wall), Anna (Jordan Izzard) and Zane (Nicold Sinclair); son Gene (Shirley) and their children, Quenton, Danielle (Scott Patryluk), Michelle and Stephen; daughter Charlotte (Alan) Merrick and their children, Lauren (Mark Garvie), Lisa (Jon Oloffs), Leanne (Riley McFarlane) and Sean (Brittany); son Greg (Angie) and their chldren, Brooke, Josh, Erin and Elsie; great-grandchildren, London and Chloe Venning, Harper Wall, Isabella, Felix and Kayde Patryluk, Callum and Ayla Garvie, Erika and Landon Oloffs, and Scarlett Merrick. He also leaves his loving wife of 31 years, Anne, and her three children: son Robert Herperger (Shirley) and their children, Tarra (Lewis Rathgeber), Trina (Mark Windrim) and Tamara (Scott McCann); daughter Joanne Donnelly; son Ron Herperger (Elaine) and their children, Colin, Blake (Sarah) and Kyle (Kyla); great-grandchildren, Jesse and Santana Rathgeber, Dylan and Wyatt Windrim, Preston and Katelyn McCann, Haven and Swayden herperger and August Herperger. Edwin also leaves two brothers, Nick (Terry) and Robert (Shirley); brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
