Condolence From: Andy Ormiston
Condolence: I just heard about this last month. I am so sorry and send my condolences to Joanna, Jim and the family. I knew Missy from grade 9 right through high school where she twice represented us at Skills Canada-Manitoba and did us proud. I remember that she would always want to sneak Joanna onto the bus when we went on school field trips. I am sorry she eventually left our profession for the railroad, but I do understand why she did. My thoughts are with the Heins family.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. I only know of Missy because I had the pleasure of working with her mother, Joanne. Missy was an amazing young woman and I cannot imagine the hole in your hearts. I pray you will have the strength and comfort you need to get through each new day ahead.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy is expressed for Melissa, and to her family. As a retired railroad Conductor and Engineer, I can appreciate the job she did and the challenges she faced. As railroad workers, we embrace our sister and honor her memory.
On the 28th of February, I will be riding through Melville on VIA’s train, The Canadian, at which time I will observe a moment of silence in her memory.
May she forever rest, in peace.
