Darlene Myrtle Piller, widow of Walter W. Piller, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, in Regina Pasqua Hospital at the age of 86 years.

Darlene will be mourned by her son, David K. Piller, and is predeceased by son Cameron R. Piller, daughter Kathy E. Piller and parents Ronald and Ellen McKenzie. Darlene leaves to cherish her memory brother Ronald (Jean) McKenzie and numerous nieces and nephews.

Darlene was born in Souris, MB, on May 1, 1931. She moved to the Lecain district to teach school and married Walter on October 26, 1951, settling north of Grenfell. Darlene worked at the Grenfell post office for 19 years, retiring to the farm in 1998, where she resided with her son David until her passing. No service will be held as per her wishes. Arrangements were entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home, Melville.
