Eileen Jeanette Hyatt was born May 10, 1939, in St. John, NB, to Arthur and Beatrice Calhoun (Bellding) and passed away December 10, 2017, at the age of 78 years.

Eileen led a full life as a military wife, mother, postmaster and writer. She lived all across Canada with her beginnings as a Maritimer, then settled on the prairies. She was so loved and will be missed by many.

Eileen was predeceased by her husband of nearly 50 years, Randall. She leaves to mourn her passing: her children, Calhoun B.R. Hyatt, Bradley Hyatt, Cheryl (Holland) Tolkien, Cindy (Paul) Cerniuk and Julie (Richard) Armbruster; grandchildren, Lee (Crystal) Hyatt, Ken (Ash) Hyatt, Evan Hyatt, Rose Cerniuk, Diana Cerniuk, Chelsea Lowe and Calab Armbruster.
