Obituary for
Trent Sillers
Trent Sillers – March 7, 1967 – October 19, 2017.
Trent Sillers passed away peacefully in the St. Paul Lutheran Home in Melville, SK on October 19, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 50 years. No words can express how deeply he will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He was an ambitious and hard-working individual who was not afraid to tackle anything and, in fact, went out of his way to seek different challenges once he felt he had accomplished everything there was to do on any project he was currently working on. Thinking outside the box was his philosophy in life and he always had time to help family, friends and neighbours with anything they needed.
Special thanks to the Lake Crew (too many to mention), the staff at St. Paul’s Lutheran Home, all the staff at St. Paul’s Hospital, Unit 3B at the Pasqua Hospital, Kenny from 3B, Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, Dr. Salim and Dr. Eshawesh and Kim Rutzki.
It was Trent’s wish that no funeral service be held but that a celebration of his life take place at the last project he undertook – one that, unfortunately, he was taken too soon to complete. This celebration will take place at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Trent and Toby’s residence at 554 Cedar Cove Dr, Crooked Lake, SK.
