Obituary for Henry Rudolf Frick

Henry Rudolf Frick was born on the family farm between Fenwood and Duff, the tenth child of John and Maria (Schmidt) Frick. He received his education at Yola School. Henry met his wife Sophie, a teacher at that school, years later. They were married in 1952 and made their home on the family farm until their retirement to Melville in 2010.

Henry leaves to cherish his memory his wife Sophie (nee Sedlovitch) and his children Janlyn (George) Rozdilsky, Rietta (Ed) Davis and Arlan (Cherie) Frick. He is remembered as "Grandpa" by Shayne and Chasen Rozdilsky, Kailyn (fiance Daulton Krchov) and Logan Davis, and Luke, Travis and Ryan Frick. Henry is remembered by his brother Edward, sisters Elsie (Carl) Hollinger and Edna (Alex) Figgitt, as well as his in-laws Bernice Frick, Vern Schick, Lavona Sedlovitch, Eleanore Sedlovitch and many nieces and nephews.

Henry was predeceased by his parents, his siblings Lizzie (Willie) Wigmore, Helen (Ted) Schick, Millie (Charlie) Schick, Rose (Leonard) Neuls, Willie Frick, Emma (Ben) Gabel, Evelyn Schick, his sister-in-law Florence Frick and several other brothers and sisters who died in infancy. Also predeceasing Henry were his parents-in-law John and Rose (Sawchyn) Sedlovitch, his in-laws Ann (John) Tymko, Nick (Nettie) Sedlovitch, Lena Sedlovitch, Mike Sedlovitch, Joe Sedlovitch, John Sedlovitch and Frances (Bobby) Dohms and several nieces and nephews.

Henry loved and dedicated his life to his family and his farm. He will be remembered and dearly missed.
