Obituary for Blaine Waldbauer

Blaine Waldbauer
Blaine Darcy Waldbauer of Melville, SK, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018, at the age of 46 years after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Blaine was born to John and Gladys (Eipert) Waldbauer on September 24, 1971, in Melville. He began his elementary school education in Neudorf until his parents retired and moved to Melville in 1980. He then attended Miller Elementary School and went on to graduate from Melville Comprehensive School in 1989.

Blaine was an avid gamer, self-taught musician, talented singer and artist. He was passionate about music and attending concerts, but his greatest passion was spending time with his children, Jaxon and McKenna.

Blaine was employed at Prairie Co-op gas bar, Melville, at the time of his diagnosis.

Blaine is survived by his loving children Jaxon and McKenna and their mother, Misty Waldbauer, of Melville; sister Glenda Waldbauer of Winnipeg; brothers Lloyd (Carol) of Edmonton and Neil of Calgary; sisters-in-law Barb Waldbauer, Sherri Waldbauer and Maureen Waldbauer, along with several aunts, uncles and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Blaine was predeceased by his parents, John (2009) and Gladys (1998) and brothers Wayne (2015), Kelly (2012) and Glenn (2016).
