Winnifred (Winnie) Elsie Goebel was born December 15, 1925, in Neudorf, SK, to Jacob and Elizabeth (Rithaler) Goebel and passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018, in Melville at the age of 92 years.

Winnie was predeceased by her beloved husband Benjamin Goebel, her parents J.M. and Elizabeth (Rithaler) Goebel, her daughter Diane Waldbauer, son-in-law James Waldbauer, daughter-in-law Debra Lynn Goebel, several brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Winnie leaves to mourn her passing: her sister Gertrude; sons Raymond and Daniel (Karen); grandchildren Cheryl (Jeremy), Jackie (Donnelly), Jody (Wayne), Andrew (Tara), Melissa (Marc), Kelly, and Afton (Kurt); great-grandchildren Charlotte, Emerson, Kullen, Belle, Addison, Hailey, Ella, James, Kitiara, Jessica, Aithne, Serena, Cadence, Josh, Izzy, Von, Corbin and Lydian and many nieces and nephews.
