Condolence From: Laurel (Goebel) Spence
Condolence: Sending love to all of our Ness (and Goebel) family at this difficult time. The loss of Aunty Ev will have a huge impact on all. I remember when she came out to BC to visit Dad and Mom (Harold and Lorie) the last time and meet her great nephews, who she had only seen in the regular school photos, sent with the Christmas cards. Boy, she didn't like those mountains or the ocean on her trip out. But steering the BC Ferry on the trip home sure made her happy! Dad would always get so excited to receive a letter and news from "home" from her. He would call and make sure I hurried over to read it or to share important updates. She truly was one of his favourite people. She will be missed by so many people who's lives she touched. Remember the happy times not the sad.
much love

One never knows just what to say at times like this, but please know that we are thinking of you at during this difficult time.
Auntie Ev was my favorite aunt and I remember her as such a lovely lady. We actually kept in touch, I would send her my annual Christmas letter and she would always send me a lovely Christmas card with her yearly update.
And of course our dad, Harold, adored her!
Take care of each other and know she will always be in your hearts.
