Obituary for Tracy Lee Zulyniak

Tracy Lee Zulyniak
Tracy Lee Zulyniak of Regina and formerly of the Melville district, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the age of 29 years.

Tracy Lee was born on July 23, 1985 in Melville to Gerald and Delilah (nee Bernhardt) Zulyniak. She was the oldest child of four. Tracy was raised in Melville. She attended St. Henry’s School and then the Melville Comprehensive School until becoming a mother to her first daughter, Brooke Ashlyn Nichole. She continued to live on the family farm while raising her daughter.

Tracy met the love of her life, Devin, and they continued to date until she made the decision to move to Regina to start a life together. Tracy then decided to go back to school and accomplish not only her grade 12 but also her hospitality and tourism management certificate, for which she was selected to receive a $1000.00 scholarship. In May 2014 Tracy gave birth to her younger daughter, Brailee Amara Jade. This was the start of their family beginning to blossom. Tracy loved spending time with her girls and all her other family and friends; family meant the world to her. She was always there for everyone but especially for her two beautiful daughters.

In her spare time, Tracy enjoyed hanging out with friends and going to visit family. Some of her favourite pastimes were having wiener roasts and bonfires, going down to the lake, listening to music, going to concerts, gardening, planting flowers in the tires on the farm, cutting grass, helping her dad haul square bales and other farm chores. Tracy also enjoyed taking care of her younger siblings while her mom was in the hospital. This included making meals, school lunches and laundry. Cooking was another of her favourite things to do. She was always planning family dinners and get-togethers. Birthdays and Christmas were always celebrated; an occasion was rarely missed. Tracy had a love for shopping, tanning, tattoos, piercings and doing her makeup and hair. One of the many things her mom was proud of was Tracy teaching her how to text and Facebook.

Tracy was a beautiful young lady with a big heart of gold. She had such a positive outlook on life and treasured and loved her daughters, Devin, parents and family very much. She had such a bright and bubbly personality. We will never forget your smile, your laugh, your voice and your touch.

Tracy was predeceased by her grandpa Mike Zulyniak, grandpa John Bernhardt and grandma Wilhelmina Bernhardt. She leaves to mourn her passing: her daughters Brooke and Brailee; her partner Devin Fifield and his son James of Regina; her parents Gerald and Delilah Zulyniak of Melville; her brothers Trent Zulyniak (Ally) and baby of Melville and Travis Zulyniak of Saskatoon; her sister Tricia Zulyniak (Peter) of Melville; grandma Olga Zulyniak of Melville; Devin’s mother Gloria (Stan) Johnson of Swift Current and Devin’s brother Joshua (Bianna) Fifield of Swift Current; aunts and uncles Angeline (Raymond) Warner of Grenfell, Marie Nixon of Yorkton, Delores (Ernie) Englot of Melville, Sharon (Myron) Kulasa of Willowbrook, Shirley (Glen) Steffen of Yorkton, Richard (Verlee) Zulyniak of Yorkton, Ronnie (Sharon) Zulyniak of Yorkton, Barry Zulyniak of Ituna, Glen (Ellie) Zulyniak of Yorkton, Clifford Zulyniak of Melville, Donnie Zulyniak (Angie) of Melville, Donna (Terry) Pfeifer of Ebenezer, Debbie Orr (Dennis) of Grayson, Cheryl (Brian) Zulyniak of Melville; as well as cousins, other relatives and friends.
