Obituary for
Janet Leigh Zorn
Janet-Leigh was born at Quesnel, BC on June 5, 1949. She was raised at the West Coast. When she was sixteen years of age she attended the Lydia Lawrence School of Dress Design. She resided in Fort St. John, BC, Dawson Creek, BC, Vancouver, BC, Surrey, BC, Edmonton, AB, and Grenfell, SK, She met Ronald Zorn at Grenfell. They married and lived at Oakshela, where Janet enjoyed being in the country, raising chickens and goats, gardening, fishing and hunting. She was a member of the Wildlife Society. Her other hobbies and interests included sewing, baking, crocheting, knitting, writing and going for coffee with friends. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Janet-Leigh and Ron moved to Whitewood in October of 2010. Janet-Leigh was predeceased by her mother, Freda Olive Ruby Bare; her father, Lorne W. Romine; brothers, Donald R. Martin and Jesse F. Romine. She leaves to mourn her passing: her husband, Ronald R. Zorn; her children: Judith-Anne Romine, Killian Romine, Clinton (Colette) Romine, Olive (Howard) Romine, Angelina (Trent) Merkel; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Josh) Ryan, Steven, Michael, Howie, Nathaniel, Noelle, Ethen, Steven, David, Christina and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Jordynn, Jolene, Emily and Dylan; Ron’s family, Marvin (Debbie) Zorn, Ruth (Wes) Hagel, Judy (Brian) O’Callaghan and Rhonda (Jack) Bender; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Janet passed away May 12, 2011 at the age of 61 years. She will be dearly missed and forever loved.
